Catch all the action at the Hungarian Round as the field prepares for the 1000th WorldSBK race at the brand-new venue

The next instalment of MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship action gets rolling this Friday, with critical Championship points on the line as the grid gets stuck into the second half of the season. The weekend kicks off with Free Practice sessions starting with WorldWCR at 09:40 local time (UTC+2), followed by WorldSBK FP1 at 10:20, and WorldSSP at 11:20. In the afternoon, at 14:10, WorldWCR leads off the first Tissot Superpole event of the round, followed by WorldSBK’s FP2 at 15:00, and closing out the day is WorldSSP’s Superpole at 16:00. Saturday gets rolling earlier, WorldSBK taking to the track for FP3 at 09:00, followed by WorldWCR & WorldSSP’s Warm-Ups. WorldSBK’s Tissot Superpole follows at 11:00, then at 12:20 WorldWCR gets race action rolling with a tripleheader of races, followed by WorldSBK Race 1 at 14:00 and WorldSSP at 16:15. Sunday marks the final day of race action at Balaton, with the schedule getting underway at 09:00 with Warm-Ups. Then, preceding the 11:00 WorldSBK Superpole Race, a special ceremony will take place to celebrate what will be the 1000th WorldSBK race. At 12:20, racing continues for a trio of Race 2s to close out Hungary’s Round 8, starting with WorldWCR at 12:20, followed by WorldSBK at 14:00, and lastly WorldSSP at 16:15.
